The final teaser was released on May 18, 2020, featuring 100 character slots. The final testing build was completed on with 90 programmed characters, and the name was changed to Ultra Custom Night. On May 15, 2020, two new teasers were uploaded, with 80 and 90 characters slots each. Another teaser with 70 empty character slots was released two days later. On May 10, 2020, the first teaser for the game was released on Kamil's GameJolt profile, featuring a blank roster with 60 character slots.
The 4th build contained all 57 characters from UCN and was finished on May 9, 2020. The second build was completed with 20 programmed characters the next day, and the third build with 39 characters was finished the day after. The first phase of development was completed on with 7 programmed characters. Ultra Custom Night began development on under the name Ultimate Custom Night - Definitive Edition.
